HIE & HIO Formation Services
|
Mosaica Partners provides a wide range of services related to the planning, formation, operation and optimization of Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and Health Information Organizations (HIOs). These services, which we provide to states, counties, NGOs and regional level organizations, help those organizations plan for, establish and operate successful and sustainable Health Information Organizations.
As a result of our experience in working with HIEs / HIOs, we have developed a range of specially tailored consulting offerings designed to support HIEs and HIOs. These services include: guidance in building community partnerships, developing financial and business plans, using appropriate governance structures, determining appropriate technical architectures, educating community members, and transforming the healthcare delivery processes.

The Importance of Understanding What Your HIE Stakeholders Value
|
In January 2010, we introduced a new consulting service offering, Identifying HIE Stakeholder ValuesSM.
Our new service offering is based on proprietary process for discovering how members of different stakeholder segments define the importance and priority of various services or capabilities that a state, agency or HIO organization might provide to them.
The information gathered helps the organization understand, develop and deliver HIE-related services that are actually valued by their stakeholders and customers. This is important because research has shown that addressing stakeholder values is an essential component of long term stakeholder engagement, a requirement for financial sustainability.
Identifying HIE Stakeholder ValuesSM, which many types and sizes of organizations can use to understand how their various stakeholders define value, has already been used by an HIO in the formation stage to define which HIE-related services its stakeholders most value -- and in what order they should be introduced.
Because an Identifying HIE Stakeholder ValuesSM engagement is delivered in a structured manner, uses well defined processes and standardized tools, it provides this critical information at a very reasonable price. Identifying HIE Stakeholder ValuesSM should be considered by any organization planning on introducing new HIE-related services and wanting to ensure those new services are both appropriate and will be well received by their stakeholders.
